My Process

I begin by sketching the concept in clay. Once I'm happy with the design, I 3D scan the sculpture and bring it into ZBrush, where I refine the forms and add the final details. After that, I hand-paint each piece with acrylic paints.

Story

Deep in the woods lives a possum who loves smoking cigars and playing poker.

Legend says that if you happen to meet him, you should offer him a cigar and ask for a game of poker. If you're lucky enough to win, he'll reward you with a pile of gold. But if you lose, you'll have to leave something precious behind.

Just a fair warning—I hear he's really, really good.
